Yng found Reiki at a time when she was seeking alternatives to cope with stress and anxiety after 15 years working in media/television production. She found Reiki to be more than a tool for stress relief; the practice has helped her tremendously in insomnia and her quality of sleep. She is also more calm, focused, happier, less attached to emotions and gaining awareness.

Yng trained under the Reiki Centre in Singapore and has been offering healing sessions since 2012 and workshops from 2013.
