Biography

Empowering people to achieve their goals is why I love doing what I do!

I am a born and bred volleyball player, having started since I could walk. With a couple of Championships under my belt, volleyball has been both a passion and a path towards physiotherapy and coaching.

Having seen friends, teammates and opponents get injuries that prevented them from doing what they loved, I have realised at a young age that I wanted to become a Physiotherapist to help kids get back into the game! I am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Physiotherapy.

I began coaching teams for the State Championships the moment I was unable to play competitively myself. I have soon found satisfaction in enabling people to reach their full potential, more than in victories when playing myself.

After moving to Singapore, I have continued coaching via a different avenue – personal training, a perfect combination of what I love to do. I enjoy teaching my clients new movements and lifts, taking great pride in them when they master a technique, and encourage their progression towards a healthier and fitter version of themselves.

Biography

I have been a personal trainer for several years now, and as someone who would never rest upon what others say, I have always tried things out for myself before pushing them on others.

I use my own body to test new training methods, theories and diets before I demand these from others. I want for myself the ability to do whatever I want, at any given moment, thus I need to be strong, mobile and open to new ideas. This is what I teach to others and aim to achieve. My dogma is movement and with that I take all the best bits from all areas of movement, may it be gymnastics or dance.

Specialised training area

My teacher is Ido Portal and I employ his method when training myself as well as clients; it is not for the faint-hearted but it yearns results.

➢ When I train, I want to move as eloquently and efficiently as I can.
