Client Spotlight: Tobias Wilson
This month, we meet Tobias Wilson who had clear goals in mind when he started training with our founder and lead coach, Alex Salihin. Read his story on how he thrived through a combination of personal training and our new small group programme (more details coming soon).
Tobias Wilson – “At the start of 2019, I approached Alex with an aim to get stronger and lose weight… 9kg to be exact. I weighed in at 99kgs at the start, unable to do a single pull-up, nor 10 push-ups. On top of that, I’d had surgery on my neck in 2018, so I needed somewhere/someone who would take that into account and tailor something around my recovery.
Needless to say, Alex definitely had his work cut out for him, but we maximised results by tackling both my diet and workouts at the same time.
Now I’m at 90kgs, I’ve just passed a Level 3 fitness test (crushing exercises that I used to consider pure torture), and I feel 10 years younger and 1,000 times stronger.
The small group program in particular had a big impact on my experience as it helped me understand more about the exercises, as well as let me track previous results via an app. Plus it’s super affordable, which encouraged me to train more.
Alex and the team are awesome, personable and actually care about what you want to achieve. If you have a fitness goal, there’s no other place I’d go.”
