Zheng Jie has always led an active lifestyle since his schooling days, when he competed in volleyball, canoeing and dragon boating. Through these sports, he appreciated the beauty of moving with proper technique. Doing so not only minimizes the risk of injuries, but also helps maximize performance.
During university, Zheng Jie picked up CrossFit, and grew to value its emphasis on functional fitness to support the rigours of our daily lives. Over the years, he also developed a love for Olympic Weightlifting and bodybuilding, domains that demand a strong understanding on technique, muscle recruitment, and even diet.
These extensive experiences have culminated in Zheng Jie’s training philosophy for both his clients and himself. He advocates a blend of the tangible and intangible: Pushing for measurable progress (physique, strength etc.), while also making our movements feel more effortless via better technique and posture. No matter what their fitness level and goals are, Zheng Jie will help his clients push boundaries and leave the gym feeling empowered.
