Val’s first brush with sports was running for her school’s track team. She then spent the next two decades doing way more running while exploring other sports like basketball, before dipping her toes into group fitness and strength training three years ago in a YOLO moment after the circuit breaker ended.

She’s been on a journey since then with strength and conditioning training, fuelled mainly by the thrill of growing stronger and being able to add one more plate (even if it’s just the 2.5kg disc!) on the bar along the way.

Having spent the first 10 years of her career in the enforcement sector, Val is stepping into a new chapter of her life by committing to fitness full-time after witnessing how it can significantly change people’s lives for the better. She aims to help her clients exercise safely and effectively, focusing on getting the basics down pat before moving on to more complex movements.

  • ACE Certified Personal Trainer
  • Fundamentals of Kettlebells Level 1 and 2


Sporting Achievements

  • Represented Singapore Prison Service and medalled in middle distance running at local and overseas track and field meets
